Charity, or love as defined in the Bible, is not a passive feeling but an active force that manifests in specific behaviors and attitudes. It encompasses patience, kindness, humility, generosity, and selflessness. Charity rejoices in truth and does not keep a record of wrongs. It protects, hopes, and endures all things. In contrast to human love, which is often selfish and conditional, charity is unconditional and seeks the best for others, even at personal cost.
