After His resurrection, Jesus appeared to the Apostles, who were initially terrified, but He assured them it was Him and invited them to touch His wounds. He reminded them of the prophecies about His suffering and resurrection and opened their understanding of the scriptures. Here we see the importance of faith, repentance, and forgiveness of sins, and the importance of the Bible’s words which we should believe as following them leads to life. We are warned that those who reject the Gospel will face judgment. We must stay close to the Bible, pray regularly, and seek guidance from the Holy Spirit.
