Old Paths, New Purpose (Part 4) – Red Sea Encounters

Pastor Tim Travis discusses the Israelites’ journey out of Egypt in Exodus 14 as he compares it to the Christian life. Pastor Travis emphasizes that while God leads us away from the “world” (represented by Egypt) and toward His “old paths,” we will inevitably encounter obstacles and enemies. Despite these difficulties, like the Red Sea and Pharaoh’s army, the core message is to trust in God and stand still, allowing Him to fight our battles. Pastor Travis makes it clear that our ultimate goal is not earthly comfort but a new purpose found in obeying God’s will, identifying with Christ, and moving forward in faith, even when our own understanding or emotions might tell us otherwise.
