Are you ready to get in the way for Christ and be used by Him? Great! But what are your motives? Are you seeking personal gain in this lifetime or do you do it for the honor and glory of our Savior and eternal reward? We all like to be recognized, but it’s clear in the Word of God that when we let personal gain get in the way, we’re not able to be used fully by Christ for His glory. In 2 Kings 4-8 we see this exemplified in the life of Gehazi who started out right, but saw his motives change. Will you get in the way and be a servant of Christ – with the right motives?
