Dispensations (Part 7)

The dispensation of Grace, also called the age of Grace or the church age, is the age in which we now live. It began with a New Covenant in Christ’s blood (Luke 22). This dispensation occurs between the 69th and 70th week of Daniel, as found in Daniel 9:24-26. It started with the death and resurrection of Christ and will end with the Rapture of the church (1 Thessalonians 4). This dispensation is worldwide and includes both Jews and Gentiles. Man’s responsibility during this time is to believe in Jesus the son of God as our Savior (John 3:18).

In this dispensation, the Holy Spirit indwells believers as the comforter (John 14). This dispensation has lasted over 2,000 years, and no one really knows when it will end, but we know that it will end with the Rapture of all born again Believers. Following the Rapture will be the judgments of God lasting seven years, called the tribulation period.
