As the church in Acts began to send out missionaries, we see from Acts 13:1-4 that they did it with a plan from God as He called Saul and Barnabas to go out. Will we support God’s plan for sending the Gospel forth?
As we study Matthew 9:35-38 we see Christ’s heard for the lost as He asks us to pray for laborers to go forth unto the harvest. Let us join together in praying for this great need that still exists today!
Missions are the heart of the Church as we follow Christ’s plan for us to reach the world. In Acts 8:1-39 we see the beginning of missions as the church is spread to the world. What will our impact be?
After the Resurrection, what are we to do? Acts 1:4-15 lets us know that we should do that which we’ve been commissioned to do while we await his return. Will we focus our attention? Will we be burdened to reach our community and the world? Will we continue in the faith?
The Resurrection of Jesus is what it’s all about, without it, there is no hope, eternity is a loss. With Christ, the hope springs eternal. In Matthew 28:1-20, we read of those who came seeking the Lord, who saw Him, and then who went at great personal loss to share what they had seen to…
