There must be a priority in the Christian’s life to grow spiritually. Peter, as he writes 2 Peter 3:1-18, reminds us to make that a priority. Life will throw many challenges our way, but God is in control and let us focus on our relationship with Him and sharing the gospel with those around us!
As we continue our study of 2 Peter, we look at 2 Peter 2:14-3:11 and how we will be tempted and how we can overcome as we grow in grace.
Are we growing in grace and the knowledge of our Lord and Savior? In 2 Peter 1:1-16 Peter reminds us of this need as we mature in Christ.
James puts it rather bluntly in James 4:1-10 – when we can’t dwell in unity, wars are usually the outcome. Whether we’re at war with one another, ourselves, or God, it’s never a good thing. How then can we end wars? You’ll want to watch or listen to this sermon!
God has shown us tremendous grace, but what are we doing with it? 1 Peter 4:10 reminds us that we are to be good stewards of the manifold grace of God. Let us therefore not grow weary of tending to the things God has given us and excel in managing God’s grace!
