A lack of faith can cause us to sink in the world around us. Yet if we will call out, Lord, Save Me, He will answer. Matthew 14:23-33 provides this great example of our need to keep our faith placed in our Savior as we go through life each day.
Faith. We all place it somewhere in something or someone. Jesus, in Mark 11:20-26, reminds us that our faith should be in God. Where’s your faith?
James prompts us in James 2:15-26 not to be dead Christians, but to be those that are working for the Kingdom, to have fruit in our spiritual lives. While these acts will never save us, there should be evidence of our salvation.
Do you have what it takes? When we consider Hebrews 11:1-27 and how these that have gone before us chose to live by faith, it can be overwhelming. Yet it comes from small steps of obedience, as we submit to our Savior, and chose to live by faith!
