When we consider the importance of gathering together as a local Bible believing body, it ultimately must come down to a desire to identify with Christ. Any other reason is lacking. In John 6:66-69 we see that this is the very reason that led the Apostles to stay with Christ – His identity. Do you identify with Christ? Will you follow Christ’s lead and be involved in the local church today?
